At Big Valley Pet Resort, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care for your pet(s) in a fun & safe environment while they are away from home. In order to board, groom or attend daycare here at BVPR, there are vaccines and immunizations that all pets are required to have before they can visit. We do not accept vaccine titers. There are also several forms and documents that must be filled out by owners to use our services.
Below is a list of required immunizations that your pet will need for boarding, grooming and daycare. We DO NOT accept vaccine titers. Links to download required documents for using services at BVPR and what you can bring with your pet when they stay are below as well.
For your convenience, there is an email form at the bottom of this page that you can use to attach and send back BVPR paperwork and/or vet documents.

At Big Valley Pet Resort, our top priority is providing your dog with a safe, friendly, & fun environment where they can play with other pets & be cared for by dedicated pack leaders. To ensure the best experience for your pup, we’ve created a thorough process to welcome you into our family:
We look forward to welcoming you and your pup to Big Valley Pet Resort! 🐾
At 7 a.m., we start our day by turning on the lights and opening the dog flap doors to give our furry guests access to their outdoor kennels, ensuring a bright and welcoming start to their morning.
Pack Leaders start the day at 7am letting all the boarding dogs into the yards, giving them a chance to stretch, go to the bathroom, and kick off their morning with some fun and play alongside their friends.
Our dedicated Pet Care team gets to work preparing breakfast for all the dogs, ensuring every meal is ready to go. Breakfast is served at 8 a.m., right after the pups return from their morning playtime.
Our front office team begins the day by opening the office, tending to the needs of our boarding cats, including feeding and care, and ensuring any necessary medications are administered with attention and care.
At 9 a.m., the daycare dogs arrive and join the boarding dogs in the yards. Our team takes great care in understanding each dog's unique personality, thoughtfully grouping them with others who share similar temperaments to ensure a fun and harmonious play experience.
Pack Leaders are in the yards with your dogs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., ensuring they get plenty of playtime, attention, and pets in a safe environment. From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., they take a lunch break, which also gives the dogs a perfect opportunity to rest and recharge with a peaceful nap.
While the dogs are enjoying their time in the yards, our dedicated Pet Care team works diligently to clean each kennel, inside and out. When the dogs return, they’ll find their kennels fresh, clean, and ready for a cozy rest.
Our Front Desk Team is always ready to greet guests, answer phone calls, reply to emails, update vaccine records, do laundry, play with the cats, and assist with any other administrative tasks to support the team.
As the day comes to an end. We are sad to see the dogs/cats go home, but know we will get to see them again soon. The latest pick up time is 4:45pm.
Pack Leaders bring all the dogs in at 4pm for them to rest a little before they are picked up by family, or if they are boarding they come in for dinner time. They then clean the yards, including toys, beds, poop scoop and water bowls.
The Pet Care team is prepping the boarding dogs food for dinner at 4:30pm. They also support the front with dog pick ups. Finally right before we head home for the day, all dogs (unless asked not to) get a goodnight treat and their dog flaps closed for the night.
Our front office team ends the day by closing the office, tending to the needs of our boarding cats, including feeding and care, and ensuring any necessary medications are administered with attention and care. Lastly the do a final head count before locking up for the day.
