(Boarding, Grooming & Daycare)

• BORDETELLA
  Usually expires after one (1) year.
  This vaccine is a noncore vaccine usually given to dogs that are frequently exposed to other dogs in boarding or social settings. Bordetella bronchiseptica is the most common bacterial agent responsible for kennel cough in dogs.

• DISTEMPER
  Usually expires after one (1) or three (3) years.
  This vaccine is a core vaccination for pets.  Distemper is highly contagious and potentially lethal illness that is difficult to treat. 

• RABIES
  Usually expires after one (1) or three (3) years
  This vaccine is a core vaccination. Rabies is a zoonotic disease, meaning it’s infectious and transmitted from animals to humans and vice-versa.  Rabies in dogs has high fatality rates.

(Boarding)

• FELV
  Usually expires after one (1) year.
  This vaccine is a noncore vaccine for cats. Feline Leukemia Virus is one of the most common infectious diseases in cats in the US, affecting 2-3%. This is a preventative vaccine, as your cat is more likely to be exposed to the virus during boarding. 

• FVRCP
  Usually expires after three (3) years.
  This vaccine is a core vaccination.   FVRCP is a combo vaccine that protects cats against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia.  

• RABIES
  Usually expires after one (1) or three (3) years.
  This vaccine is a core vaccination. Rabies is a zoonotic disease, meaning it’s infectious and transmitted from animals to humans and vice-versa.  Rabies in cats has high fatality rates.
