Yes! We’re proud to offer safe, comfortable boarding for dogs and cats, along with a variety of exotic pets. Grooming: For new grooming clients, please reach out by phone, email, or our Contact Us Form so we can send you the New Client Grooming Questionnaire.

We are open Monday - Saturday, 9am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 2pm.

SHORT DAYS

We have short days on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Short days mean drop-off and pick-up are between 9 AM and 1 PM.

CLOSED Days
We are closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. We will of course be here to take care of the animals boarding during these days. 

Every pet is unique, so we ask that you visit our Policies & Procedures page to review the specific vaccines required for your furry, feathered, or scaled friend.

At Big Valley Pet Resort, our top priority is providing your dog with a safe, friendly, & fun environment where they can play with other pets & be cared for by dedicated pack leaders. Your You will get a call from our Front Reception Team to schedule….. must be at least 6 months old before having their first Meet & Greet. Additionally, we DO NOT accept unaltered dogs aged 2 years or older. To ensure the best experience for your pup, we’ve created a thorough process to welcome you into our family:

1. Contact Us
   Call or email Big Valley Pet Resort to receive all the necessary Meet & Greet information. Our manager will reach out to schedule your pup’s Meet & Greet at our facility. A $35 non-refundable Meet & Greet fee is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment.
2. Share Vaccine Records
   Before your Meet & Greet, send your pup’s updated vaccine records to petresort@bigvalleyanimalcarecenter.com or bring them along on the day of your visit.
3. Meet & Greet Day
   When you arrive, you’ll complete the required forms. The Meet & Greet lasts about 45 minutes: 30 minutes: Your dog will play in the yards with other dogs to assess their temperament. 15 minutes: Your dog will spend time in a kennel to ensure they’re comfortable. After the session, we’ll let you know if your pup has passed.
4. Trial Daycare
   If your dog receives a Pass or Working On It at their Meet & Greet, they will move on to a Trial Daycare Day so we can see how they adjust to a full day in our playgroups and daily routines. Good news — your $35 Meet & Greet fee will be applied toward the cost of this Trial Daycare Day.
5. Trial Overnight
   For families interested in boarding, we also require a Trial Overnight Stay (charged at our standard nightly boarding rate). This allows us to ensure your pup is comfortable, settled, and ready for longer stays. Please note: Dogs who have not completed a Trial Overnight Stay will not be eligible for boarding until this overnight trial has been successfully completed.
6. Welcome to the Family
   Once your trial sessions — either daycare only or both daycare and boarding — are successfully completed, your dog officially becomes part of the Big Valley family! You’ll then be able to book daycare only or both daycare and boarding for future stays, based on which trial(s) your pup has completed.
