Meet & Greet Policy Update

At Big Valley Pet Resort, the comfort and safety of every dog in our care is always our top priority. To make sure all our guests settle in smoothly, we’ve updated our Meet & Greet Policy for dogs who haven’t boarded with us in the past year.

Our three-step Meet & Greet process helps dogs gradually acclimate to life at Big Valley:

1. Initial Evaluation – a one-hour Meet & Greet
2. Daycare Session
3. Overnight Stay

For dogs who haven’t visited in the last 12 months, we may ask them to repeat one or more steps before confirming a new boarding reservation. This could be a single Daycare session, an Overnight Stay, or the full three-step process. Taking this gradual approach ensures that your pup feels comfortable, safe, and happy while in our care.

Planning ahead is important! Our Meet & Greet sessions often fill quickly, so scheduling several weeks in advance increases the chances of securing a spot for your dog.

This update helps us maintain a calm, safe environment for every guest and gives all dogs the best possible start to their stay at Big Valley.
