Cal’s favorite part of the job is giving dogs extra love during their kennel breaks. Some soak up every cuddle, while others can’t hold still for kisses—but either way, Cal knows a little affection and patience make a big difference. After working at another pet resort, Cal joined Big Valley and immediately felt at home in the warm, family-like atmosphere. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and genuine passion from the team quickly made this a place worth staying.

Outside of work, Cal enjoys writing, reading, crafting, and still cherishes over 12 years of ballet training—sometimes even dancing with the dogs, which always lifts everyone’s spirits.
