Big VAlley Dog Training

Types of Training We Offer

Important Training Announcement:
We’re thrilled by all the interest in our dog training program! With the shorter days and changing weather, we’ll be pausing training until Spring 2026. We can’t wait to see you and your pups again next year for more fun and learning!

At Big Valley Pet Resort, we’re excited to offer hands-on training designed to help you and your pup build confidence, connection, and real-world skills. Our training sessions focus on two key areas:

Structured Walks – Learn how to enjoy calm, stress-free walks without all the pulling and reactivity. This two-hour lesson covers walking gear, leash handling, and practical techniques tailored to your dog, so you can have fun while keeping your pup focused and by your side.

Impulse Control & Door Manners – Teach your dog the power of patience with lessons that strengthen self-control at home and in public. This session provides practical examples, tools, and a tailored plan to help your pup become their best self.

Both lessons are interactive, educational, and fun—because training should be something you and your dog love doing together!
