Winter

Winter joined Big Valley Pet Resort in June 2022, right after moving to Washington post-high school. Although she hadn’t worked with animals before, she grew up surrounded by pets and quickly found her passion for animal behavior. She started as a kennel cleaner/play yarder and transitioned to Resort Lead, and now she’s exploring dog bathing. Big Valley feels like home to Winter because of the relationships she’s built with both her coworkers and the clients, pets, and their families.

When she’s not working, Winter enjoys taking biology classes in college, adventuring with her boyfriend, spending time with family, and crocheting while watching Law & Order or Bob’s Burgers. Plus, she loves bringing her rascal, Toby, along for the ride! And yes, she has a soft spot for Bart too!
